Ductwork for state-of-the-art medical facility
The View Royal Surgical Centre is the newest and most technologically advanced facility for Surgical Centres Inc., Canada’s largest and longest-serving broad-based surgical service provider.
The surgical centre, which aims to reduce wait times and improve healthcare for Greater Victorian residents, consists of eight operating rooms including five general surgery rooms and three rooms dedicated to colon screening.
Under a contract with Island Health, doctors will perform 2,500 to 2,750 surgeries at the centre annually for patients who can be discharged the same day and don’t need a bed. The facility has four overnight rooms, should they be needed.
